What is Polarity Therapy?

Polarity Therapy is a type of energy medicine that uses a combination of techniques to alter the body's energy flow and balance. It's based on the idea that the positive and negative charges in the body's electromagnetic field control its energy, and that imbalances in this field can lead to disease, pain, and stress.  Polarity Therapy brings the energy flow back into balance to release any blockages and promotes holistic healing.  During a Polarity Therapy session, the therapist will use bipolar contact, which involves applying both hands to the body at once, with each hand on an "opposing location".  The therapist may also use crystals to help improve the energetic flow, and to clear the chakras and aura. Other aspects of Polarity Therapy in addition to the energy work piece also involve healthy nutrition and yoga, which when used in conjunction with the energy work help us to achieve a higher level of well being.
